John Imperante, President of PHOENIX CHEMICAL, INC., received his B.S. in Chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (BPI), which is now part of New York University. John completed his graduate studies in Chemistry at BPI and Brooklyn College. He has also earned an MBA in Marketing from the College of the City of New York.

 John was employed at Cornell University's Medical College in Physical Biochemical Research. For 27 years, he was at the GAF Corporation, (now ISP) working in applications research, and sales and marketing of surfactants and acetylene chemicals.

John founded PHOENIX CHEMICAL, INC. in 1982 with a charter to serve the cosmetic and OTC pharmaceutical industry. The company provides new, unique and imaginative raw material chemical technology, which addresses changing industry technology requirements. PHOENIX CHEMICAL, INC. deals in intellectual property and holds many patents and publications.
